Full on rant
Justin Sane on the election
I orginally typed some of this up ina respone to this post by
tychoelite
He amazes me constantly with what he writes about. It annoys me that so many musicians don't care and then there's some like Justin sane and the rest of Anti-flag who do care about the country. I knew bush was bad all along but with what I read of what he wrote it made me realize why. Now if only my mom would realize that Anti-Flag has a message and just cause their song titles mention guns doesn't mean they want to kill people. America and the rest of the world need people like Justin Sane nad Fat Mike and anyone who knows waht needs to be done to help the people.
Our government is basically thinking about throwing away a basic principle that was written by John Locke and put into our government's basis during it's creation 200 YEARS AGO. The Bush administration wants to toss Seperation of Church and State out the window to ban gay marriages. If you're going to ban gay marriages why not just ban marriages. And ban relationships between any two people. So that our population dies out. Banning gay marriages is like telling people that they can't be different. I love this country but I hate this government. What makes each and every one of us different makes us shape this country into the (excuse the cliche) melting pot it is. And Praying in public schools? What the FUCK is that? I'm atheist and if I have my school telling me I have to pray they are out of their minds.
I'm sick of sitting by and watching my country have it's basis shot to shit. OUr founding father's are probably turning in their graves and if they weren't dead they would probably be attacking Bush for his stupidity. We have to fight to get our freedom back. And so what if we are ignored or arrested or threatened. Fuck it and keep fighting.
[excuse my rant. I am very pissed. tomorrow lindsey sue and I are wearing all black to mourn Bush running our country for another four years. I 'm just glad Kerry won PA. Makes me proud of my state.]
